- Complete turnkey electrical installation solution (power and extra-low voltage) in line with strict German guidelines (DIN/VDE) for school buildings.
Key points of the work
- Safe first fix Installation of cable runs for all playrooms, common rooms, washrooms and the commercial kitchen. All socket back boxes were prepared with the integration of child-safety shutters (Kinderschutz) and safe mounting heights in mind.
- Modern lighting concept Complete installation of energy-efficient LED luminaires. In the play areas we installed dimmable lighting circuits to control the atmosphere, while automatic sensor-controlled and emergency lighting was connected in the corridors and escape routes.
- Extra-low voltage and security infrastructure Running network cabling for high-speed internet, installing an access control system with an electronic video door entry system for secure access to the building, and preparing cabling for fire protection.
- Equipment connections and distribution boards Cable connections for the ventilation, heat recovery and heating systems. Assembly and commissioning of the main distribution board, with maximum protection provided by residual current devices (RCDs).
Result
The nursery project in Schönefeld was successfully completed, tested and handed over for use on the agreed date. The result is a modern, safe and energy-efficient space that meets the highest German standards for childcare.
